High-performance quenching oils 

DURIXOL 4Diluted, intensive quenching oil with high performance and broad scope of application in terms of type of materials hardened and cross-sections used.
DURIXOL 7Particularly intensive high-performance quenching oil, designed for materials of large cross-sections.
DURIXOL V35Particularly intensive high-performance quenching oil, designed for materials of small cross-sections.
DURIXOL W21/ W25Evaporation-resistant, high-performance oil with particularly stress relief annealing and specified quenching action; designed both for cooling entire clusters of components in tools sensitive to warping in open and close devices for heat treatment as well as for cooling tools made of alloy steels.
DURIXOL W55HSEvaporation-resistant, high-performance oil with stress relief annealing and specified quenching action. Developed on the basis of DURIXOL W25, but with better cooling effect and broader technical and quenching scope of application.
DURIXOL W71/ W72Intensely cooling, evaporation-resistant and high-performance quenching oil, designed for cooling entire clusters of elements in open and closed devices for heat treatment with broad scope of application.

Oils for hot baths

DURIXOL A650AOil for hot baths of extreme operating temperatures (with gas protection in maximum temperature of ca. 240°C); gentle cooling effect for quenching metal sheet impressions, needles, rings of rolled bearings.
DURIXOL HR80Ageing-resistant quenching oil for hot baths; gentle cooling effect.
DURIXOL HR88AQuenching oil for hot baths with intensive, particularly stress relief annealing quenching effect. Recommended application: gentle hardening of sprockets/ transmission gear components, rings of rolled bearings as well as for other fragile constructional elements and tools.

Vacuum quenching oils

DURIXOL H222Diluted, intensely-operating vacuum quenching oil, mainly for quenching the vacuously carbonised constructional elements. Good bright quenching properties and easy degassing.
DURIXOL H444Low viscosity vacuum quenching oil with particular stress relief annealing not causing warping, for quenching tools. Very good bright quenching properties and easy degassing.

Synthetic and semi-synthetic quenching oils

DURIXOL 4W71HCSemi-synthetic high-performance quenching oil on the basis of the highest quality oils obtained in the hydrocracking process; used for stress relief quenching of warping-sensitive constructional elements.
SYNABOL 2000Synthetic oil with medium viscosity and high evaporation resistance, two scopes of application; on the basis of synthetic ester high quality base oil. At the temperature of 60-80°C has an intensive cooling action, whereas when used in closed devices at the temperature of ca. 150°C it may cool down warping-sensitive elements of transmission gear or elements of the cylindrical roller bearings.
SYNABOL 240Synthetic, water-soluble high-performance quenching oil; on the basis of a stabilised type PAG (polyalkylene glycol) base oil. Designed mainly for oxidising open baths with high thermal requirements for shaft furnaces, fluidisers and for devices using Tenifer technology.
SYNABOL 310Synthetic, water-soluble quenching oil; high resistance to evaporation and combustibility (ignition temperature > 280°C); on the basis of a stabilised PAG (polyalkylene glycol) type base oil; designed for oxidising open baths with extreme thermal requirements for shaft furnaces, fluidisers and for devices using Tenifer technology.
SYNABOL 9000Highly diluted but also very resistant to evaporation; synthetic high-performance quenching oil, on the basis of the highest quality ester base oils. Used for fast and uniform cooling of small, tightly-packed components, in universal chamber or bell furnaces.

Polymer cooling Fluids for surface quenching with spray cooling

POLYQUENCH 500D-F1
POLYQUENCH 500DS-F1
A polymer “modified PAG” cooling fluid, with significantly gentler cooling effect compared to SERVISCOL 98, which makes it useful for the material particularly sensitive to cracking and for geometry of constructional elements. The advantage of this oil is the possibility of using a considerably lower concentration than that of other commonly used polymer cooling agents.
POLYQUENCH 500DSK-F1A special version of the SERVISCOL 98 fluid; meets high requirements in terms of anticorrosion protection and de-foaming.
POLYQUENCH 500DX-F1A special version of the POLYQUENCH 500D fluid, without boron content.
SERVISCOL 98S-F1
SERVISCOL 98SK-F1
A special version of the SERVISCOL 98 fluid; meets high requirements in terms of anticorrosion protection and de-foaming.
SERVISOL 98-F1A standard, polymer type PAG cooling fluid (polyalkylene glycol) for induction and flame quenching; efficient anticorrosion protection for quenching tools and hardened materials as well as high resistance to microorganisms.

Polymer cooling fliuds for immersion quenching

POLYQUENCH 500-F1A polymer, type “modified PAG” cooling fluid with significantly gentler cooling effect compared with commonly used polymer cooling agents; used for medium-alloyed steel and for steel quenching and tempering.
POLYQUENCH VP85KB-F1
POLYQUENCH X3000-F1
A polymer PVP (polyvinyl pyrrolidone) cooling fluid, with oil-like cooling effect. A direct alternative for oil processing (conventional or thermal plastic working) with possible hot drawing for materials particularly sensitive to cracking or for constructional elements.
POLYQUENCH XL400-F1A cooling fluid with oil-like effects; particularly gentle cooling effect. When used, the 10% concentration has similar results of delay and quenching as quenching oils. Designed for processing (both conventional and thermal plastic working), with possible hot drawing.
SERVISOL 98-F1A standard polymer, type PAG (polyalkylene glycol) cooling fluid for water-oil quenching; provides excellent anticorrosion protection for quenching tools and hardened materials; also excellent resistance to microorganisms.

Special cleaning fluids for quenching plants

SERVIDUR 2504A neutral cleaning fluids for special washing before and after heat treatment. Particularly suitable for cleaning before carbonising, nitriding, and other diffusion and covering processes. The products leave no residue on a surface which could have an adverse impact on a diffusion process.
SERVIDUR A119 / SERVIDUR N453 / SERVIDUR A460Basic cleaning fluids for washing constructional elements before and after heat treatment. Especially useful for cleaning strongly adherent impurities before heat treatment. SERVIDUR SOLV810 does not contain halogenated or aromatic hydrocarbons. Very good cleaning properties, good anticorrosion protection, low foaming.
SERVIDUR D105A basic cleaning fluid for dephosphorisation and removing strongly adherent impurities. Designed for cleaning residue of all kinds of drawing and anticorrosion agents as well as for washing chip- and chip-free machined construction elements.
SERVIDUR K190 / SERVIDUR K710Efficient, neutral cleaning fluids, also to be used in low temperatures. Developed in particular for spray cleaning processes before heat treatment. The SERVIDUR K710 may be used for applications requiring high temperatures.
SERVIDUR N298 / SERVIDUR N310Salt-free, neutral cleaning fluid for washing single constructional elements before and after heat treatment; adjusted to the BURGDORF’s quenching oils package. Leaves no residue on workpieces, which could have an adverse impact on diffusion process; very good cleaning properties and spontaneous demulsifying effect combined with effective anticorrosion protection. Both cleaning agents provide long and comparable service life.
SERVIDUR N695Efficient, salt-free, special cleaning fluid for one-step or multiple-step washing; designed for washing constructional elements before nitriding and after heat treatment.. Particularly adjusted to the BURGDORF quenchants.
SERVIDUR SOLV 880Very efficient cold cleaning fluids on the basis of modified alcohols. Designed for cleaning impurities of oil, grease, dust and adhering residue. SERVIDUR SOLV 880 may be used for cleaning elements before and after heat treatment; designed for dip, spray and ultrasound cleaning in closed devices. Very often used by many world’s leading machine manufacturers.
SERVIDUR SOLV810Cleaning fluids on the basis of isoparaffin and dearomatised hydrocarbons for dip, spray and ultrasound cleaning in single-and multi-chamber devices. Often used by many leading machine manufacturers. Very good degreasing of all surfaces of workpieces (in particular steel and non-ferrous metals) before and after heat treatment.

Anticorrosion fluids

SERVITOL 143/80Synthetic concentrate, free of mineral oil; for preparing aqueous solutions which prevent from rust. The quenched elements are dipped in the fluid, which leaves a rust-protection film on the surface, preventing it from blacking.
SERVITOL 2377Special version of the SERVITOL 3070 to be used in low temperatures.
SERVITOL 2404Does not contain barium, odourless, water displacing liquid with improved anticorrosion properties. SERVITOL 2404 leaves a very thin oily film.
SERVITOL 3070Oil concentrate for blackening of hardened elements after tempering. After cooling elements after tempering in the SERVITOL 3070 emulsion, the elements receive a uniform black appearance and excellent anticorrosion protection when stored in warehouse.
SERVITOL 4310Anticorrosion protection oil for temporary storage of workpieces etc. after inductive quenching. SERVITOL 4310 does not contain solvents, has excellent performance and leaves a thin, oily film.
SERVITOL 4610Anticorrosion protection oil for long-term conservation and transport; very good creep properties and excellent water displacing properties; creates a uniform waxy film.

Stop-off paints – Quenching protection agents for low-pressure and powder gas carbonisation as well as for nitriding and annealing. 

Gas carbonisations

CONDURON G55 CONDURON 33Solvent-free, quenching protection for deep gas carbonisation; designed for carbonisation depth of max. 5 mm with double application. Residue to be removed by sanding.
CONDURON LV/LVESolvent-free, easy-to-prepare protective quenching paste for deep gas carbonisation; max. depth of the hardened layer (CHD) 5mm after single application.
CONDURSAL 0090 CONDURSAL 4000 CONDURSAL 0119Universally applied protective quenching agent for gas carbonisation; designed for carbonisation depth of max. 1.3 mm after single application. Residue may be washed with warm water or water with soap.
CONDURSAL 0118/0118GWE CONDURON G55HKSolvent-free, protective quenching agent for deep gas carbonisation; designed for carbonisation depth of max. 3 mm after single application. Residue may be removed by a stream-friction processing and brushing.
CONDURSAL 777 CONDURSAL 790Water-soluble quenching pastes for gas carbonisation, for the carbonisation depth of max. 3.5 mm; washable with water.

Low-pressure carbonisation

VACUCOAT 0095A protective quenching agent for low-pressure carbonisation. Residue may be removed by washing.
VACUCOAT 200/300Solvent-free, protective quenching agent for low-pressure carbonisation; designed for carbonisation depth of ca. 1.7 mm or 3 mm. Residue may be removed by a stream-friction processing and brushing.

Powder carbonisation

CONDURSAL 0118 GWESolvent-free, quenching protection agent for powder/ granulate carbonisation. Residue may be removed by means of stream-friction processing.

Sealing / grinding

CONDURON LR20Plastic, easily-kneaded quenching protection mass for grinding of bore-holes, blind holes; also used for sealing carbonisation and annealing boxes.

Nitriding

CONDURSAL N633/N643Water-based, nitric protection agent for gas nitriding and cyaniding. Residue may be removed by brushing or glass ball abrasion-friction processing.
CONDURSAL N690Water-based protective quenching agent for ionic nitriding.
CONDURSAL N9/N9WNitric protective agent for ionic nitriding. Residue may be removed by abrasion or brushing.

Annealing

CONDURSAL Z0095Protective paste against scale in the temperature range of 650°C – 850°C. Residue may be removed by hot water or water with soap.
CONDURSAL Z1100Protection varnish against scale, which may be applied by dipping, spraying or coating. Recommended for the annealing temperature range of 650°C – 1100°C. Residue may be removed by brush cleaning.
